A municipality between Pontedera and Volterra.
In the historical centre there are some findings of etruscan origins in Morrona and Soiana.
Some attractions are the complex of hypogaeums and Chiesa di San Donato, situated in the highest part of the village. It has three naves and a valuable dome where there is a painting which dates back to 1600.
Some neighbourhoods are La Rosa di Terricciola, Morrona, Soiana and Selvatelle.
Nowadays the town of Terricciola is part of ‘Associazione Nazionale Città del Vino and participate to Strada del vino delle colline pisane; every year the second and the third weekend of September there is the traditional event Festa dell’Uva e del Vino, the oldest in the area. Some typical varieties of grape are Sangiovese,Trebbiano,Malvasia,Ciliegiolo and Merlot.
