3 of August 2017 – XII Andrea Bocelli’s Edition at the Silence Theatre

After the amazing edition in 2016 which had Andrea Bocelli as protagonist in “Le Cirque” show. Here the tenor performed some of the most famous operas in a contest full of colors, amazing and brilliant sceneries and choreographies dancer and performers, now in 2017 the Silence theatre comes back with the 12 edition

The contents of the exhibition of Thursday 3 of August 2017 will be announced on the next weeks: another time you would assist at the enchanting scenery of Lajatico on Tuscany hills, in the city where the Star lived together with a symphony orchestra, a choir and an international artistic cast.

‘Tutti in moto!’ e ‘Futurismo’: le mostre inaugurali nel nuovo Palazzo Pretorio

New Center of art inside of Palazzo Pretorio was inaugurated 

The Palazzo Pretorio (PALP) was converted to an artistic gallery space, It will houses two exhibit until the 18th april: The first one, ‘Tutti in moto! Il mito della velocità in cento anni d’arte’, it is extend to Museo Piaggio, It houses 20 artworks and one photographic section of Giovanni Lista.

The exhibit is split between eleven rooms, It is dedicated to the theme of motors, to their reflex of figurative arts, great artists like Fattori, Bianchi, Viviani, Carrà, Boccione, Dottori, Levi have depicted the speed and his transformation starting to horses, continuing to train, tram, choppers, cars and airships to reach the modern airplanes.

Alta Valdera Park

The “Parco Alta Valdera” (Alta Valdera Park) is a homogeneous territory in the south-east of the Province of Pisa, near Volterra and clote to the provinces of Florence and Siena, therefore strategically placed in a particular artistic context. valdera
Thermal baths (Cascina, Uliveto and Montecatini), and coastal towns are easily reachable from here. The landscape is varied and unspoiled: pleasant from plains to hills, rich in woods, chestnut woods and vegetation typical of Tuscany, which, with the changing seasons, characterize the landscape with suggestive effects. At the bottom of these hills it flows the meandering river Era. There are several itineraries to follow: the artistic one in particular is characterized by the ancient Romanesque churches whose territory is rich, and works of art by contemporary national and foreign artists.
In addition to this, you can enjoy to stay at the farms holiday and agritourismin the area, which complement the characteristic Tuscan cuisine with high quality wine and oil. In certain times of the year are guaranteed to the tourist the possibility to visit the winery of local Chianti (with tasting) DOGG and S. Torpè and the opportunity to  chianni-valdera attend the events related to the traditions and typical products of the land, which change with the flux of seasons.
For those who love sports in contact with nature, there are different paths you can walk, run, ride by bike and horse, proceeding through the territory of Valdera.
Lots of mansion houses enhance the countryside, home to noble families of Pisa and Florence, yet some of their properties. Moments of leisure and cultural studies are possible by visiting the prehistoric park, the Zoological Museum, the Archaeological Museum, the astronomical observatory, the museum of icons, the “mofeta”, museums of civilization and of rural work. These are some of the characteristic aspects of the Parco Alta Valdera, in the context of a beautiful and serene landscape that ensures a memorable stay.

In 2003 some municipalities of Valdera have joined forces to enhance their small and large museums Culture; their environment and territory offer essential opportunities to the cultural and economic development of an area. One of the basic factors of this process is the knowledge of places, stories, societies, that you can acquire through a cultural journey. Tourism, therefore, enhances the territory and its cultural heritage, but to make this possible it is necessary to create a network of museums spread throughout the territory and appropriate to “welcome” the visitors. Teatro del Silenzio

The Theatre of Silence is an amphitheater created by exploiting the natural contour of a hill near the village of Lajatico, in the province of Pisa.

“Theatre of Silence” is born from the creative mind of Alberto Bartalini and a group of people who have come together with the intention of creating a place to convey ideas, emotions, art, music, dance with however, the unique characteristics of the scenery in which these “forces” will occur.

Factors of this project are the members of the Scientific Committee which is composed of both luminaries of science as Professor Franco Mosca, who as exponents of international photographer Mario Mulas; Also essential are the cornerstones Architect Alberto Bartalini, a native of Lajatico and active rediscoverers of socio-cultural traditions and places of our land, the Mayor of Lajatico Fabio Tedeschi (President of the Committee) and the lawyer. Enrico Fabbri (Vice-President of the Committee) of the association representing the Plough, which have always been sensitive to the cultural and social events that can bring out the unique character of this country and the places near it, but above all the biggest supporter , as well as Honorary President of this project, is the Tenor Andrea Bocelli.tds1

Born in this land, Andrea wanted to create a place to bring his whole world of music, the emotions experienced with intense feelings and details, in a living space with his friends singers, enraptured by the suggestive sensations there will certainly to participate in an event of this type.

A project silent, in a place that 364 days of the year remains intact in its harmony and for a single day comes alive for a different life, a human made of natural characters of song, dance and the arts performing national and international, who will perform along with the one who brought the Italian melody in the world.

The Museo Piaggio was opened in March 2000 in the 3,000 square meters of former tooling workshop, one of the oldest buildings and fascinating industrial complex in Pontedera, where the company settled its production since the early twenties of the ‘900. The museum was created to preserve and enhance the heritage of one of the oldest Italian and aims to reconstruct the history of Piaggio and its Territory retracing a long stretch of Italian history, the fact of economic, customs and industrial development, through the exhibition of its most famous and representative and thanks to the rich documentation preserved in the Historical Archives.

Its halls house the Vespa and Gilera collections alongside the most significant products of Piaggio (aircraft engines thirties, a specimen of the driving station MC2 54, 1936, the plane P148 of 1951, the Bee, the Pentarò, the Hello , to the latest generation scooters).

Since opening in 2000, the Piaggio Museum has had more than 400,000 visitors , with a continued increase until reaching a record of more than 44,000 people in 2014. It is therefore among the five museums’ company most visited in Italy.
