The Wine Route of the Pisan Hills<\/strong> is a trail that winds around the hillls of the Valdera and lower Valdarno. Visitors travelling along the winding, panoramic roads come across towns and villages awash with history and culture, romantic hamlets and impressive farmhouses, where they can discover wine producers and shops, local produce and high quality food shops.
\nThe wine cellars of pisan hills are famous for its excellent production of wine: Chianti DOCG, Colli dell’Etruria Centrale DOC (red and white types), San Torp\u00e9 DOC (different typologies), Terre di Pisa DOC and Terre di Pisa Sangiovese DOC. The IGT (indication of Geographical Typicity) wines encommpass such a large variety of types throughout the territory. Including the category of wine called Supertuscans which, thanks to an accurate selection of varietal, careful vinification and ageing in small (barriques) or large (tonneaux) barrels have great structure and longevity.<\/p>\n

CHIANTI COLLINE PISANE<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Chianti Colline Pisane<\/b> its a DOCG<\/a> wine produced in Tuscany Region in provincie of Pise.<\/p>\n

Its produced with\u00a0Sangiovese\u00a0(70-100%) and other and other varieties suitable for cultivation in the region Toscana\u00a0(max 30%).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

BIANCO PISANO DI SAN TORP\u00c8<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Bianco Pisano di San Torp\u00e8<\/b> its a DOC<\/a> wine whose production is allowed in the provinces of Livorno and Pisa. Variety is also produced by the same name Vin Santo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

TREBBIANO<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The Trebbiano toscano <\/strong>has a common origin with other grape varieties of the Trebbiani<\/strong> families, know in Italy since roman. History has brought the\u00a0Trebbiano toscano <\/strong>in France<\/strong>, with name of Ugni Blanc<\/strong><\/em>, where it forms the basis for the production of Cognac <\/strong> and Armagnac.<\/strong><\/p>\n
