Although it was ceded after his death, it is one of the Medici&#8217;s villa.<\/p>\n<p>Spedaletto is named for &#8220;spedale&#8221; of hospitalier knight of Altopascio\u00a0situated in the surroundings of\u00a0Via Francigena. This\u00a0&#8220;spedale dei Santi ippolito e Cassiano&#8221; was granted to\u00a0Lorenzo the Magnificent in 1486.<\/p>\n<p>The zone was strategic for\u00a0i Medici, because\u00a0Volterra\u00a0was conquered for his precious cave\u00a0in 1472. In the vicinity of it there are hot springs of\u00a0Bagno a Morba, the mother of Lorenzo has rented them. The family&#8217;s main branch of Medici suffered\u00a0illnesses to the gout. The Corsini are the actual owner of villa, their emblem stand out on the facade of building.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately in XVII century the frescos were damaged by blaze.
