Venerosi family arrived in Ghizzano\u00a0at the end of 14th century. They decided to buy\u00a0the farm and they produced wine and oil.<\/p>\n

For many century Tenuta produced wines, keeping a solid and safe quality.<\/p>\n

Veneroso wine:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the ’80s\u00a0Pierfrancesco decided to invested in the cellar and in the vineyard because it wanted to try\u00a0to produce a wine able to keen the name of Tenuta di Ghizzano.<\/p>\n

On 1985 born\u00a0Veneroso wine,Tenuta first wine, it takes the name of\u00a0Veneroso Venerosi, the man who gave soul and body at the countryside and at the\u00a0Tenuta.<\/p>\n

\"Ghizzano\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Tenuta today:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Today it is made up of about 350 hectares of which 20 dedicated to vines, 20 to olives, 150 hectares of cereal and the remaining 150 is made up of woods and poplar groves.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2003 we started to move over to organic farming and since 2008 we have been officially recognized as organic by the relevant authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tenuta\u00a0products:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The aim is to cultivate a high quality product, limited in quantity and which fully reflects the characteristics of this area without forgetting the style, elegance and rich fragrances of the rolling hills which surround us\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time they\u00a0are investing in natural winemaking and agriculture which maybe means they\u00a0produce less but definitely means they\u00a0produce better.<\/span><\/p>\n

And we\u00a0will never stop believing in the\u00a0wine!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today\u00a0Tenuta produces about\u00a070.000 bottles a year, each in his kind;<\/p>\n

‘Veneroso’, ‘Nambrot’, ‘Ghizzano Rosso’ and ‘Ghizzano Bianco’, besides an excellent ‘passito’, ‘San Germano’ and a precious extra-virgin olive oil\u00a0I.G.P.<\/p>\n
