Bientina is an italian town in the Province of Pisa, located in the area between the plain of Lucca and the southern “Valdarno” (Arno river valley), in Tuscany.<\/p>\n

Bientina, village of artisans which, despite having lost its ancient medieval guise, offers to the visitors sites such as the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, where the remains of San Valentino are conserved, the Museum of Sacred Art<\/a>, the Etruscan Museum and the Church of San Girolamo;
\nCraftsmanship is still an important resource for the town. The fourth Saturday and fourth Sunday of each month in Piazza dei Borghi takes place the traditional antiques market, with the presence of numerous exhibitors with furniture and various objects.<\/p>\n

Among the main town events we are glad to mention\u00a0Palio di San Valentino<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and the Carnevale Bientinese.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Museo degli Etruschi\u00a0e\u00a0della Storia Antica del Territorio di Bientina<\/a> “V. Bernardi” <\/strong>has been inaugurated after important archaeological recoveries that testify the presence of Etruscan in the territory such as amphoras, ceramics, necklaces and \u00a0earrings.
\nMost of these elements belong to a grave discovered during some excavations near Bientina’s swamp.
\nThe museum has been entitled to Vittorio Bernardi<\/strong>, an expert in archeology.<\/p>\n

Bosco di Tanali -Bientina<\/p><\/div>\n

The town is home of the protected natural area of Tanali Forest<\/strong><\/a> , in “Caccialupi”.
\nThe area hosts many types of environment such as wet gardens, trees, reeds and a lake. Thanks to this, it hosts also many\u00a0species of animals and plants.<\/p>\n
